Who Were Selected for The Expert's Premier League Weekly Best XI?

At the conclusion of every round of top-tier English fixtures throughout the campaign, football pundit Troy Deeney presents his select XI and Head Coach of the Week.

Below are this week's selections. Do you agree? Tell us via the comments section at the bottom of the page.

Between the Sticks

Guglielmo Vicario (Spurs): Even though finishing on the defeated team versus Chelsea, his teammates let him down. He was up against 18 attempts, nine directed at goal, with an expected goals of 3.36 for the visitors yet he made crucial saves. He stood firm on his team.

Defenders

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City): The talented teen is frightening. Usually a midfield engine, he adapts intelligently at left-back. His performance in the victory against Bournemouth stood out, marking him as a future star.

Gabriel (the Gunners): A persistent threat, he contributed to a further shutout for Arsenal. He is a handful from dead-ball situations, just being there was decisive in the triumph at Turf Moor. Rival teams are intimidated by him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (the Hammers): Included for a couple of factors: West Ham's win and his composed, assured display. While Newcastle were not at their best, he excelled in possession and settled the play. After some shaky weeks, he seems to have improved under boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham): He sparked the team in the win over Wolves. Outstanding in attack and consistent throughout the term, he has added goals recently. Great to see him fit and performing.

Engine Room

Moises Caicedo (Chelsea): The sole engine no one can dispute. Crucial for his club, he was the top tackler. An energizer, he drives everyone forward. Perhaps the best holding midfielder in world football.

Declan Rice (the Gunners): Another key performance versus Burnley. An absolute beast, he netted and excels from dead balls. As playing weaker opponents, he recovers stamina and executes more attacking runs. Important to see him let loose.

Ryan Gravenberch (the Reds): He pushed forward, getting a goal against a struggling Villa team. His ability to dictate play with and without the ball, plus his awareness and challenges, made him key to the victory.

Forwards

Diego Gomez (the Seagulls): He scored a brace against Leeds, and he was elegant dribbling by opponents. Running with pace and power, he edged out teammate Danny Welbeck for this spot.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City): What else is there to say about this phenomenon? Every time he broke through, you expected a score. He didn't appear to be off target. The King is back. Despite off-season chatter about other strikers, the Norwegian dominates. He might break scoring records this year.

Rayan Cherki (City): Playing high on the right is his ideal role. Incredibly ambidextrous, a rarity like Santi Cazorla. He takes free-kicks equally well. A gifted player, he appears sharp after his injury. His connection with Haaland is clearly a key reason for his acquisition.

Gaffer

Nuno Espirito Santo (the Hammers): Haven't seen it, check out the way he celebrated their third against the Magpies. That shows how much it matters for him and the squad. He's aware West Ham face challenges, yet they must get through and secure results.
